Greetings! I got sucked into the Canaan Dog world when I obtained Sebastian from Renee. I was looking for a breed of dog that would be good in apartment and urban life, however would be able to keep up on mountain bike rides or hikes. In addition, health issues were a major concern. The descriptions of a Canaan Dog seem to fit the bill.

Little did I realize that this particular (and I emphasize particular) pariah dog would be so wily. This pint sized trouble maker was going to turn my whole life around. Many doggie phone calls to Renee would rapidly turn into a friendship, and now partnership.

Renee has turned me on to the pure bred dog fancy, the art of breeding and the funest (yes, fun-est) part...raising puppies. Breeding has now been added to the list of hobbies that include (but not limited too) mountain biking, road biking, snowboarding and bonsai trees. My newest toy is on the right, just what the doctor ordered on those sunny RI days.
