Vaccinations

The over-use of vaccinations has become a focus of the veterinary community and dog fancy. At Renegade Canaan Dogs, we are currently in the process of decreasing our use of vaccinations and judiciously selecting what is administered and when.

Over- and inappropriate vaccination protocols are being cited for taxing the immune system of animals over a long period of time and causing vaccine related responses such as seizures, auto-immune diseases, arthritis, and local tumors at the site of injection among others.

Some veterinarians are very resistant to this so do your research and prepare yourself with information prior to entering an exam room. It is important to find a veterinarian who respects your concerns and is willing to work with you, not against you.
