2003 Year in Review
2003 Year in Review
2003 was a good year for our dogs.
Lucy and Mojo both finished out the year in the Top 20 for the breed and garnered invitations to the Eukanuba Invitational that was held in Longbeach, CA.
Mojo finished his AKC Championship in September and Marley made her debut in November. The weekend of the Canaan Dog Club of America Specialty show was a great success for us. Mojo earned a 5-point major going Best of Opposite Sex to the #1 dog in the country this year. He had to beat several finished Champions to earn this award. Mojo's sister Jasmine was awarded Winner's Bitch at the specialty and earned herself a 5 point major as well. Lucy was out on maternity leave for most of the year but did well at the Philadelphia Kennel Club shows in November where she represented our breed in the televised group ring competition. Both Marley and Lucy earned their AKC Canine Good Citizenship Certificates at this show. Marley earned her first 2 points in the prestigious December Boston cluster during an early season blizzard.
