Well, it's been a long arduous 2 weeks. From sleeping on the floor, to hand feeding/pottying...this little guy is a tried and true fighter. Renee created him what we call the "travel den". Courteousy of an Amazon.com order, she took a box and lined it with a cozy bed and of course Riley's littermates...Lamby, Wanna-be-Canaan-Dog, and Tigger. Oh and of course his rice sock. The rice sock is a source of moist heat for the little guy to keep him warm without dehydrating, like a heating pad. Riley sure digs it. He perches himself up there like an iguana basking him self in the sun on a warm rock.

On Monday we noticed his eyes have started to open. Although he can't see or hear just yet, he has been making plenty of efforts to toddle around.
